Martini Racing liveries became closely associated with Porsche endurance race cars during the early 1970s, particularly the Porsche 917. Unlike many traditional racing graphics of the era, the blue and red Martini stripes were applied as flowing shapes that followed the contours of the car rather than cutting across them in straight lines.
On the Porsche 917, the livery wrapped around the bodywork and became one of the most recognizable visual designs in Porsche motorsport history.
